Home Prep checklist:


Getting your home photo-ready makes all the difference. Our Home Prep Checklist helps you declutter, tidy up, and highlight your property’s best features so your listing looks clean, spacious, and inviting. A little prep goes a long way in creating photos that truly stand out.

  • Turn ON all lights throughout home (overhead, lamps, under cabinet)

  • Replace any burned out light bulbs

  • Turn OFF all ceiling fans

  • Turn OFF TVs and computer screens

  • Hide cables/cords

  • Straighten indoor and outdoor furniture and any towels/pillows/throws

  • Remove most personal items in common areas

  • Ensure window blinds are open and shades are flat as to see out

  • Clean windows and mirrors

  • Declutter kitchen counters and clean sinks of any dirty dishes

  • Remove floor mats in kitchen and bathrooms to help show off flooring

  • Declutter all bathrooms of any personal items (toothbrushes, makeup, soaps etc. )

  • Put away all children's toys

  • Put away pet beds, toys, food dishes, and cat towers

  • Turn ON any pool water features

  • Make sure no cars are in driveway or parked in front of home

  • Exterior touchups e.g. sweep sidewalks, blow off driveway, pull any weeds, remove any debris or toys in the yard.

  • Clean pool and put away pool cleaning equipment, chemicals and pool toys/inflatables
